Case 1:

Real Estate Developer. Having 30+ projects nation wide. Known for leadership and excellence in real estate development.

Situation:
All Project schedulers Using MS Project Professional 2013 version for project scheduling and tracking. Status reporting by execution team and other departments to scheduler was off the system.

Schedulers used to spend lot of time to compile MIS reports from tracked schedule.

Cash flow report used to get compiled manually using tracked schedule and SAP cost data.

Solution:
Implemented our Task tracking module i.e. integrated their project management software i.e. MS Project with their emailing software i.e. MS Outlook. Now task reporting is done through Outlook.

We deployed reporting module, developed in VBA, which generates all MIS reports at a click of a button.

We mapped SAP financial info into MS Project schedule and developed programs to generate monthly Cash Flow.

Benefits:
Now task reporting is automated and works in background. Scheduler are relieved from rigorous followup work.

Schedulers can use their time, which they used to spend in MIS reports generation, in planning and coordinating with other stakeholders

Same with Cash flow generation.

Now organization have deployed surplus staff to other new projects.


Case 2:

A market leader, provides complete fluid management solutions for large infrastructure projects in the areas of water supply, power plants, irrigation, oil & gas and marine & defense.

Situation:
Having 150+ infrastructure projects. 50+ project managers using MS Project Professional. In the past, tried implementing MS Project server with some consultants but could not get good technical support. Awarded MS Project Server 2013 implementation contract to Benelec.

Solution:
Studied project management requirements and mapped information entities in MS Project. Advised on hardware and software infrastructure including optimum licenses. Installed MS Project Server 2013 and configured for project management requirements, emailing etc.Developed customized reports.

Also developed customized Pre Bid Project Risk Assessment module.

Made the system available to other local and overseas offices over internet.

Benefits:
Now system is on line. Senior executives within India and overseas refer the system for effective decision making.


Case 3:

A respectable name in fabrication and installation of food processing plants.

Situation:
Customer is happy with their manual ( not even Excel based ) system of project monitoring and of the opinion that it does not need any system. but got convinced when we demonstrated our Project Management Information System (PMIS ) for SMEs.

Solution:
Our PMIS uses existing infrastructure. No capital investment. Studied customer business and deployed system. Trained Scheduler and other stakeholders

Benefits:
In true sense customer is delighted. Now there is complete transparency of status of all orders. Departments are started reporting more issues. Customer is able to minimize delivery time and that improved his confidence level in delivery commitment.
